Wild Adriatic

After a well-deserved two-year hiatus, Wild Adriatic is back in action, ready to unleash their signature rock 'n' roll energy on the world once again. The band is known for seamlessly blending their rock 'n' roll core with a rich tapestry of influences spanning 60s and 70s blues and soul, creating a sound that's as timeless as it is captivating. A decade spent on the road playing 250 days a year whittled the band into sharp shape & cultivated an international audience with their combination of groove, grit and guitar-heavy swagger.

After taking some time to regroup and fall back in love with playing music together the band picked right back up where they left off by releasing two singles & returning to form in front of a hometown capacity crowd in November 2023. The group’s explosive live show continues to evolve as the core trio of Travis Gray (guitar/vocals), Rich Derbyshire (bass) & Mateo Vosganian (drums) expands to include longtime keys player Dustin DeLuke and saxophonist Mike Oehmen, promising a richer and more dynamic live experience.

Countless stateside runs, several European tours and appearances at festivals like Bonnaroo & Mountain Jam earned the band acclaim from Rolling Stone, USA Today & the Huffington Post. An extensive tour history has seen Wild A hit the road with a range of heavyweight acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Grand Funk Railroad, 38 Special, Sister Hazel, Marcus King, Goose, Sublime, Twiddle & moe.

Rooted in the rowdy spirit of rock & roll, the band continues to place an emphasis on evolution. “We’re eager to approach this next phase of the band with a delicate balance of our love for each other, the music and the audience,” said drummer Mateo Vosganian. “Working tirelessly on the road just to keep the rent paid and food in our mouths took its toll, but we’re very grateful to be able to play together again because we feel called to.”

The band plans to be quite a bit more active in 2024, hitting the road for a limited amount of shows and releasing two albums including their 3rd studio album as well as the follow-up to a 2017 live release “Live, Vol 1: No Way, Let’s Do It”.

Rock and roll is alive and well in the hands of many worthy contenders. In today’s rock music landscape there are rock bands with soul, there are jam bands who rock and then there is Wild Adriatic.
