Enhanced Health & Safety Measures

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced a series of proactive safety measures being put in place on board their vessels designed to closely look after the health of all guests and crew when the time is right for them to resume sailing. 

The comprehensive measures are built on the following 6 Key Pillars:

  • Enhanced Screening (including a series of touchless temperature checks) 
  • All-New Hospital Grade Air Filtration System, Increased Sanitation (including electro-spray technology) 
  • Responsible Social Distancing 
  • Enhanced Medical Resources (fully equipped with the latest testing kits and medical supplies) 
  • Extended Ship to Shore Safety (Close coordination with Port officials and Tour Operators to extend all health and safety protocols)

Sixthman's Role

We want to ensure you stay informed about any new safety measures that will impact your vacation experience and we will continue to adapt to new regulations. We expect new protocols to continue changing and the planning for your event will continue evolving right alongside them. One measure we'll implement right away is saying goodbye to our beloved welcome high-fives. However, you can still count on a friendly Sixthman face upon your arrival to greet you and welcome you to the party!

Flexibility For You

Postponement Options & Transfers

No action is needed from you until more information announced. We’ll provide a time window in which we expect to have the new dates and information announced. If we’re unable to announce new dates within three months of postponement, we will declare the event cancelled and offer the options outlined below under event cancellation.

FOR CRUISERS:
Once a cruise has been rescheduled, we’ll send you as much information as we can. In addition to the new dates, this may include ship, port of call, lineup and pricing information. As we're able to announce more complete information, we'll also let you know when your window to request a transfer or refund will open. At that time, the Lead Passenger of the reservation will have approximately 2 weeks to select one of following options:

  • Transfer my reservation to the new dates (default selection)
  • Transfer my reservation to the new dates and add free beverage package (see beverage package information)
  • Cancel my reservation and provide a future Sixthman event credit
  • Cancel my reservation and provide a future Norwegian cruise credit
  • Cancel my reservation and provide a full refund of all monies paid to Sixthman

FOR ALL THE BEST FESTIVAL:
The process will be similar to what is outlined above. You'll receive an email with full instructions on how to transfer or cancel your reservation. If you request to cancel within two weeks of receiving these instructions, you'll receive your refund within 45 days of the end of the two week window. 

If you choose to transfer, you'll have the following options:

  • Receive a $150 per person discount towards 2021
  • Receive a $150 per person refund (if already paid in full)
  • Donate $150 per person to a charity supported by the Prine family.

Need more time to decide?
You have the option to transfer your reservation initially, but change it to a cancellation before October 15, 2020. All cancellation requests after the initial two week period will be processed in November.

If you elect to transfer your reservation during the initial two week window, you will still have the option to cancel your reservation for a refund until October 15, 2020. The deadline to cancel for a future cruise credit is December 31, 2020. All refunds requested prior to August 31, 2020 will be processed in September and all refunds requested between September 1 - October 15, 2020 will be processed in November.

The Lead Passenger may choose to transfer the entirety of the reservation and guests may work out payment reimbursement amongst each other for those that do not travel. Alternatively, the Lead Passenger of the reservation may choose a full refund, and guests that wish to travel may re-book at a later time as a brand new booking (pending availability). Lead Passengers must select one option for the entirety of the cabin.

Cancellation Options

You’ll receive an email with these options if your event has been cancelled:

  • Transfer monies paid towards a future credit to be used on a Sixthman event or a future Norwegian Cruise Line sailing before December 31, 2022.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid to Sixthman. You’ll be provided a brief window of time to make your selection and refunds will be processed within approximately 45 days.

If the event is still happening, you may cancel the entire reservation for a future cruise credit through December 31, 2020. Refunds will become an option to guests with active reservations if the event itself is cancelled or postponed.

As per the event ticketing contract, if you cancelled your reservation prior to the event postponement or cancellation, you would only be eligible for the options available at the time of your cancellation. Only guests with an active reservation will be eligible for refunds.

No. The above policies do not apply to the TCM Classic Cruise for which Sixthman provides reservations services only but is not the owner/promoter of the event.

Payment Options & Refunds

I paid in full
If you already paid in full, you’re done! No action needed unless you opt to add the Free Beverage Package. In that case, associated gratuities would be added to your account.

I’m signed up for automatic recurring billing
You will need to contact Sixthman once the reservation is transferred to 2021 event and we’ll set you up with a new recurring billing plan that allows you to finance your remaining balance over the extended period leading up to the new dates. This will result in much lower monthly payments.

I’m on the manual payment plan
All of your deposits will roll over to your new 2021 reservation and you’ll transition onto the payment plan for the rescheduled event. That means you’re already ahead of the curve on your payments! Additionally, you may contact our Guest Services team to switch to automatic recurring billing for lower monthly payments.

When all event details (pricing, lineup, dates, etc.) are announced you will have a 2 weeks window to request a refund, a Sixthman event credit, or a Norwegian Cruise Line credit. All refunds requested during this two week window will be processed within 45 days after the two week window closes.

If you elect to transfer your reservation during the initial two week window, you will still have the option to cancel your reservation for a refund until October 15, 2020. The deadline to cancel for a future cruise credit is December 31, 2020. All refunds requested prior to August 31, 2020 will be processed in September and all refunds requested between September 1 - October 15, 2020 will be processed in November.

If your event is announced as cancelled, refunds or credits will typically be processed within 45 days after the brief election window ends.

Travel Protection Options

Yes! All guests are offered Travel Protection at the time of purchase. For more information on the policy offered – including the option of Cancel For Any Reason protection – please refer to sixthman.net/protection.

Your original Travel Protection Premium will be automatically transferred to your new reservation with no action required by you. Should you upgrade your room you will also have the option to upgrade your policy to protect the new full amount. 

 

The total paid for your Travel Protection premium will be refunded to your original method of payment or issued via check. You will not be eligible for a future credit or refund of your premium if you have already had a claim paid out or have an active claim open with Travel Insured. You will have the option to purchase Travel Protection at the time of making your new reservation through Sixthman or Norwegian Cruise Line.

Yes, once your new reservation is created, you will be notified and invited to contact Sixthman directly to make any modifications. Travel Protection can be added at any time but we encourage you to consider purchasing within 21 days of receiving your confirmation in order to be eligible for certain time-sensitive benefits within the plan.

Free Beverage Package

If you’ll be on board a Sixthman cruise event that sails in 2021 (including those postponed to 2021 & Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea Caribbean 2022), you can opt into one of three beverage packages for a limited time. The package itself will be free, and you will be charged only the 20% gratuity at the time the package is added. This selection must be made before December 31, 2020.

Guests 21+ will have the option of choosing between:

  • Premium Beverage Package (valued at $99 USD per person per day)
  • Corks and Caps (valued at $65 USD per person per day)
  • Soda Package (valued up to $7.95 USD per person per day)
You will be charged 20% gratuity at the time the package is added.

You’ll receive details in an email about how and when to add your free beverage package. The associated gratuities will be added to your reservation at the time the package is added, and the alcohol packages must be added for all guests over the age of 21 in the stateroom (as per Norwegian Cruise Line’s standard policy). All free beverage packages must be added before December 31, 2020. New guests booking before December 31, 2020 will have the option to select their free beverage package at the time of booking.

Discounts

If you are an active, retired, or volunteer healthcare professional or first responder (including EMS, Law Enforcement, and Fire Department), you are eligible to receive a 5% discount off of your room fare for the entire reservation.

To receive this discount, please email ONE of the following items to guestservices@sixthman.net after your reservation has been confirmed:

  • Employee or volunteer badge showing your full name
  • Paystub less than 60 days old
  • 1099 tax form from previous year
  • Signed affidavit from first responder agency

Please blacken out anything showing your social security number, bank account, or financial details before sending.

CRUISERS:
Children 3-14 years at time of sailing will receive a $99 youth discount. Children 6 months - 2 years at time of sailing will be charged only taxes and fees if booked as third/fourth/fifth guest or receive a $99 youth discount if booked as the second guest.

ALL THE BEST FESTIVAL:
Children 3 - 12 years of age at the time of the event will receive a $199 youth discount. Children up to 3 years of age at the time of the festival will be free if booked as the third/fourth guest in the room. Children up to 3 years of age added as the second guest in the room will receive a $199 youth discount and will not be charged the resort fee.

If you are active, veteran, or retired military, you're eligible to receive a 5% discount off your room fare for the entire reservation. 

To receive this discount, please email ONE of the following items below to guestservices@sixthman.net after your reservation has been confirmed:

  • Copy of the military LES (Leave and Earning Statement)
  • Copy of military retirement papers (DD214 or DD256)
  • Copy of proof of honorable discharge (Form DD214)
  • Proof for Cadets: A letter from his/her Commander or a copy of a military pay stub.

Guests traveling by themselves in their own room are responsible for the double-occupancy rate of the room (the double rate times two). Single occupancy rooms will be charged Taxes and Fees for only one guest, and will receive a discount of $199.00 off the second fare.

Paid In Full, Military, and Healthcare Professional/First Responder Discounts are not combinable.
